ゲッター線の貯蔵施設が、原因不明の爆発事故を起こした。負傷した研究員を助けたハヤトが、変異したゲッター線を浴びて被爆してしまう。爆発を起こしたのは、メカザウルス・ヤバが放つものと同じウラン系の放射線だった。ヤバに立ち向かうゲッターロボ。だが、被爆したハヤトは弱り切り、生命の危機に陥っていた…。
