When Youta is told by the girl he likes, Moemi, that she likes someone else, he rents a video girl tape from a mysterious video rental shop.

When he plays the tape at home, Video Girl Ai emerges from the screen to help him win Moemi's love.

But Youta's VCR had been malfunctioning and now Ai's personality is not quite what it was designed to be.

Youta tries to see a video tape rented from a rather strange store, but when he tries this, someone jumps off the TV. What can it be?

どう、似合う？」よく晴れた日曜日、洋太にプレゼントされた服を着て、あいは大喜び。初めて２人きりでデートするはずが、もえみや貴志に遭遇。その上、あいの体調がおかしくなってしまう。
EP4 - Confession

洋太の想いに気づく様子のないもえみ。貴志の誕生日プレゼントを選ぶ２人の姿に嫉妬するあいは、「ビデオガールは特定の男を好きになっちゃいけないんだゾ！」と、自分に言いきかせる。一方、もえみは貴志に告白するが……。
EP5 - Lost Ai

とうとう貴志ともえみがつきあう事になってしまった。しかし、あいのおかげで失恋から立ち直った洋太は、絵本作りに没頭する。買い物の途中で倒れたあいは、洋太に会えないまま消えてしまう事に恐怖を覚える。
EP6 - Ai, Love & Sadness

突然、目の前から消えてしまったあい。あいを探す洋太は、ビデオワールドに迷いこむ。貴志やもえみの幻に試されながらも、薄くもろいガラスの階段をのぼり、確かな「あい」を求める洋太。そして２人は……？
