Ash is preparing for his Anistar Gym battle as Professor Sycamore arrives in the city to research the origins of the mysterious Anistar Sundial. A young woman appears and angrily demands that the professor leave at once! Gym Leader Olympia soon arrives to stop her apprentice. Powerful and mysterious, Olympia can actually see into the future!Olympia has a vision of the strong bond between Ash and Frogadier and a bright future for both, but she also sees that the sundial is in great danger of being destroyed—by none other than Team Rocket! Our heroes join forces with Olympia and her apprentices to send the villains blasting off again.The formidable Olympia accepts Ash’s Gym battle challenge, and while his friends are a little nervous, Ash can’t wait for the chance to win his seventh Kalos Gym badge!

EP91 - A Performance Pop Quiz!

Serena joins her friends Shauna and Nini in the Anistar City Pokemon Showcase! The Theme Performance is a Pokemon quiz, which knocks Nini out of contention. Shauna, Serena, and Jessilee (Jessie in disguise) move on to the Freestyle Performance.Jessie’s performance includes a loud fireworks display that sends Eevee running for cover! Serena can’t perform until she finds Eevee—fortunately, the sound of her voice soon brings it out of hiding. Shauna and Serena give remarkable performances, and Serena wins her second Princess Key!As soon as the Showcase is over, Tierno and Shauna run off to help their friend Trevor. Ash’s Gym battle is next on our heroes’ journey!

EP90 - Tag Team Inspiration!

In Anistar City, where Serena is rehearsing for the next Pokemon Showcase, our heroes get a nice surprise when their friends Tierno and Shauna arrive with newly evolved Pokemon! Serena’s new friend Eevee is skittish and shy in the presence of so many others, and she suggests a Tag Battle so Eevee can gain some experience and confidence.The matchup features Ash and Tierno versus Serena and Shauna! When Tierno and his Blastoise go into their usual battle dance, Eevee starts toe-tapping right along with them, and soon it’s leaping and whirling faster than Blastoise can follow! It gets one good hit in with Swift as Serena watches, starry-eyed...and then she asks everyone to put the battle on hold so her team can rehearse a new performance idea!Ash and Tierno happily continue the battle on their own as Serena and Shauna go off to practice—because the next morning, it’s time to register for the Showcase!

EP89 - A Frolicking Find in the Flowers!

As our heroes take a break in a beautiful meadow on their way to Anistar City, Serena and Bonnie unexpectedly come across an Eevee, dancing joyfully in the sunlight! Serena is quite charmed by the Evolution Pokemon, but then Ash calls out to the girls and startles Eevee into running away.Determined to find Eevee again, Serena decides to put on a performance to attract its attention. Sure enough, Eevee creeps up to watch—only to be grabbed by Team Rocket! In the battle that follows, Eevee uses Protect to keep Serena out of the line of fire, and Pikachu’s Thunderbolt soon sends the villains blasting off again.Serena asks Eevee to join her Pokemon Showcase team. After a bit of shy hesitation, Eevee agrees, and our heroes are off once more—with a new member in the group!

EP88 - A Trip Down Memory Train!

On the road to Anistar City, Ash and friends fall into a Team Rocket pit trap! Pikachu quickly sends the villains blasting off again. Then the ground underneath our heroes collapses, leaving them in an abandoned subway tunnel.Bonnie is reminded of when she and Clemont first met Bunnelby, who was living in an old subway car in Lumiose City with a group of Pokemon. The group was being threatened by a grumpy Diggersby who wanted the train for itself! Thanks to some battling tips from Clemont, Bunnelby managed to defeat Diggersby and protect its home.Soon after, the subway car was in danger, and Clemont, Bonnie, Bunnelby, and all its Pokemon friends—now including Diggersby—had to work together to move it to safety! After the train found its new home, Clemont and Bunnelby sadly parted ways...but Bunnelby’s friends had a better idea. They encouraged Bunnelby to go after its newly chosen Trainer, and the rest is history!

EP86 - A Legendary Photo Op!

When our heroes arrive at the foot of Mt. Molteau, the sudden appearance of a fiery Charmeleon lets them know that Trevor, their friend from Pokemon summer camp, is nearby! His goal is to take a photograph of the Legendary Pokemon Moltres, who is reputed to live on Mt. Molteau.The Team Rocket villains are close behind, hoping to catch Moltres for the Boss. But first they grab Pikachu and a battle ensues near the volcano’s crater. The Legendary Pokemon awakens during the fray and sends Team Rocket blasting off with a powerful Flamethrower!Unfortunately, Moltres thinks our heroes are also enemies and turns its attack on them! While trying to protect Ash and his friends, Fletchinder evolves into a magnificent Talonflame. When Talonflame finds itself in trouble, Ash jumps to the rescue, saving his beloved Pokemon and proving to Moltres that he means it no harm.Trevor has gotten his photograph, our heroes have met Moltres, and Ash and Talonflame vow to work hard together. And now the journey to Anistar City continues!

EP85 - Mending a Broken Spirit!

Serena is reworking her Pokemon Showcase routine when a powerful attack from Pancham hits Braixen and breaks its beloved branch! Everyone tries to find Braixen a new branch, but it isn’t interested in a replacement. Team Rocket has been spying as usual, and James dons a disguise and joins our heroes to see if he can help.Nurse Joy suggests they take the branch to a tree surgeon, Mr. Woodward, for repairs. He first wants Serena and Braixen to demonstrate their bond, and the best way to do that is with a battle. Braixen eventually uses its broken branch to unleash a powerful new move: Fire Blast! This shatters the branch beyond repair but restores Braixen’s confidence, and it finally accepts the new branch Pancham offers. Our heroes are off once more to Anistar City, and the bond between Serena and Braixen is stronger than ever!

EP84 - Adventures in Running Errands! Filler

Our heroes have stopped at a busy Pokemon Center to get out of the rain when the power goes out! Clemont soon discovers that a leak in the roof has caused a short circuit, and recruits Luxray, Pikachu, and Dedenne to serve as a temporary source of electricity while he fixes it. Ash climbs up to repair the leak, and Serena and Bonnie offer to help Nurse Joy take care of the Pokemon.Clemont needs a replacement fuse, but he can’t leave the still-sparking fuse box unattended, and everyone else is still hard at work. So he sends Chespin and Bunnelby into town with a note for the shopkeeper! Along the way, the two Pokemon run into Team Rocket...but just as Ash shows up looking for Chespin and Bunnelby, they send the villains blasting off all by themselves!Eventually, they acquire the new fuse and bring it back to Clemont, who gets the power going again, and all is well...all except for Chespin, who eats way too much at the victory feast and becomes the newly restored Pokemon Center’s first patient!

EP83 - Over the Mountain of Snow! Filler

Ash and his friends ride on some Mamoswine to climb a snowy mountain which they have to pass through to get to Anistar City. The Mamoswine lead them to a cave where an Abomasnow is taking care of a sick Snover. Ash and his friends go looking for plants that grow on the mountain to make medicine to help Snover. Team Rocket snatches Abomasnow, but Braixen and Chespin free Abomasnow from its net.

EP82 - A Festival Trade! A Festival Farewell?

On their journey, Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie come across a Gourgeist Festival, where everyone dresses in Pokemon costumes. Naturally, our heroes want to join the fun!Meanwhile, Team Rocket, also in costume, gets an invitation to the castle from Count Pumpka. His Prince Pumpkaboo has developed quite an interest in Jessie’s Pumpkaboo. Jessie seizes the opportunity and tells the count that some terrible villains have stolen her Pikachu—namely, our heroes! She suggests that she might trade her Pumpkaboo to the count if he helps rescue Pikachu.The count’s steward confronts Ash and the others, demanding that they return Pikachu to its rightful Trainer—but because Pikachu is wearing a Psyduck costume and Chespin is dressed as Pikachu, he ends up grabbing Chespin by mistake!Back at the castle, Jessie reluctantly agrees to the trade. But when the trade is complete, Jessie’s Pumpkaboo evolves into a Gourgeist, and suddenly Prince Pumpkaboo isn’t interested anymore! Jessie gets her Gourgeist back, Team Rocket is revealed and promptly sent blasting off again, Chespin and Clemont are reunited, and all’s well that ends well!

EP81 - Rotom's Wish!

Ash and the others check in to run-down hotel, where its owner Mantle wagers Pokémon as prizes for battles. They meet a timid Rotom once owned by the front desk clerk Weston. Rotom uses a television to show Ash and the others that ten years ago at the founding of the hotel, Weston had lost ownership of the hotel to Mantle by forfeiting a match after Rotom was scared off. Rotom sends Ash and his friends ten years into the past to change history.

EP80 - Performing with Fiery Charm!

Serena is ready to compete in the Dendemille Town Pokemon Showcase—and so is her rival Miette, who once challenged her to a Poke Puff baking contest! As it turns out, the Theme Performance is all about Poke Puffs, and Serena, Miette, and Jessilia (Team Rocket’s Jessie in disguise) all advance to the Freestyle Performance.After a run-in with Jessie that leaves a noticeable tear in Serena’s costume, she’s worried that this Showcase will end like her last one. But traveling with Ash has taught Serena never to give up, so she grabs her sewing kit to make a few last-second adjustments...and ends up winning the Freestyle Performance and her first Princess Key!

EP79 - A Frenzied Factory Fiasco!

Our heroes have taken an exciting detour from their Anistar City journey: a visit to the one-and-only Poke Ball Factory! The three factory managers who offer them a tour look strangely familiar...It’s Team Rocket, of course, but by the time the villains reveal themselves, our heroes have handed over every one of their Poke Balls (plus Pikachu) and gotten themselves locked in a storeroom! When Pikachu escapes, a frantic chase ensues as Pikachu tries to rescue the case full of Poke Balls and Meowth tries to use Pikachu’s own Poke Ball to trap it!Finally, Meowth offers a challenge: if Pikachu can beat him in battle, he’ll give back all the Poke Balls. Meowth tries to pull a double-cross, but Pikachu’s Iron Tail takes him down, and Team Rocket goes blasting off again. And after freeing the real factory managers, our heroes get an official tour by way of thanks!

EP78 - Lights! Camera! Pika! Filler

Ash and his friends arrive at a village, where they meet a group of Pikachu and their owners, Frank and Jean. Impressed with Ash's Pikachu, Frank wants to cast him in a movie with the Cosplay Pikachu.

EP77 - The Pokémon Sky Relay Challenge! Fly, Onbat!!

While training Onbat to help it fly, Satoshi and the gang learn about a competition called the Pokémon Sky Relay. Satoshi decides to compete in it with his three Flying-types in hopes for Onbat to fly properly. But Team Rocket has other plans up their sleeve when they enter as well.

EP76 - The Wind, the Egg and Onbat!

The gang helps a newly hatched Onbat learn to fly but Team Rocket tries to take it for themselves, leaving Luchabull to keep Onbat safe.

EP75 - Three-Match Rival Battle! Towards the Future!!

Before parting ways Satoshi and Shōta decide to have a three on three battle where the former helps give the novice trainer useful experience. Afterwards, the gang decides where their Kalos adventures will take them next.

EP74 - Kunoe Gym Battle! The Beautiful Fairy Trap!!

Satoshi challenges Mache to a battle for the Fairy Badge and finds that appearances aren't everything when he faces her Fairy-type Pokémon.

EP73 - Battle at the Fashion Show! Tatsubay VS Shushupu!!

Satoshi and the others finally arrive in Kunoe City and Satoshi immediately heads over to the Gym only to find it closed due to the its seasonal Fashion Show. They instead meet Shōta, whom gets the right to challenge the Gym Leader Mache during the show.

EP72 - Scary Hospitality!

Ash and his friends find themselves in a mansion called the Scary House to shelter from the rain. Its owner Lon offers them some food. A Gastly, Haunter and Gengar scare Ash and his friends as a playful way of showing hospitality. Ash, Pikachu, Serena and Bonnie fall down some trapdoors into the basement. After rescuing them, Clemont finds a 200-year-old journal which talks about the secret room the trapdoors lead to which was created for Lon to hide in when he was a boy. Ash and the others are shocked to discover a 200-year-old photograph of Lon and that Lon is no longer alive. Afterwards, everyone wakes up in the forest, with Ash, Serena and Clemont unsure if they were dreaming.

EP71 - So You're Having a Bad Day! Filler

Ash, his friends, and all of their Pokemon are taking a break on their way to Laverre City. While everyone is eating, Serena checks her fortune on her guidebook, which predicts coming trouble. When Bonnie requests that her fortune be told as well, Serena tells her that she is due to have some of her worst luck ever, and to look out for a gold color as a sign of bad luck. However, the two girls dismiss their bad fortunes as trivial.

EP70 - Conclusion! Numelgon, Go Over the Rainbow!!

Team Rocket attempts to drain the marshlands, but Ash and Goodra attempt to stop their actions with the help of the Florges.

EP69 - Battle in the Marshlands! Numelgon VS Florges!!

Satoshi and the others meet a man named Kenzo while on their way to Kunoe City and they learn about Numelgon's history. At the same time, they encounter the Florges and its army of bug Pokémon who had once terrorized Numelgon's home in the marshlands.

EP68 - The Targeted Mega Evolution! The Bonds of Gaburias!!

Satoshi and the others visit Professor Platane to observe his experiment with a Key Stone and a Mega Stone. However, when Team Rocket crashes the experiment and makes away with the Mega Stone and Gaburias, Platane desperately fights to get his beloved Pokémon back from their clutches.

EP67 - Miare Gym Battle! Satoshi vs. Citron!!

Satoshi and Citron finally begin their promised gym battle at the Prism Tower and show off their strategies for countering the other's unique battle style. In doing so, they not only test their skills against each other but their strong bond of friendship as well.

EP66 - Miare City Investigation! Citroid vs. Black Citroid!!

Satoshi and the others arrive in Miare City and discover that a mad scientist named Belmondo had invented a Dark Citroid robot, which he had been using to commit crimes all over the city. Teaming up with Officer Junsa, the gang try to get to the bottom of the occurrence and clear the Citroid's name.

EP65 - Kameil and Raichu Appear! Good Luck Numeil!!

Satoshi reunites with Tierno and decides to prepare for his Miare gym match by challeging his friend to a double battle. However, when Team Rocket attacks with their new mecha, Numeil summons the power to save its friends.

EP64 - Fokko VS Mahoxy! A Splendid Performance Battle!!

Yancham and Fokko start fighting while training with Serena for their next Tripokalon, and she inadvertently yells at them. However, a person calling herself Ellena offers to teach Serena a thing or two about Performance Battling.

EP63 - A Fork in the Road of Indecisiveness!? Musashi and Sonansu!!

Musashi and Sonansu are separated from Kojiro and Nyarth after being sent flying by Pikachu's Thunderbolt. A doctor named White then saves Musashi from drowning in a river, and she seems to fall in love with him.

EP62 - Protect the Future of Science! The Labyrinth of Electricity!!

Citron and the others arrive at the Kalos Power Plant and discover Team Rocket to be manipulating the electric Pokémon in the area. After putting a stop to their schemes, Citron decides to go on ahead of the others and prepares for the upcoming battle with Satoshi in Miare City.

EP61 - An Oasis of Hope!Battle in the Wilderness! Fight Numera!!

The gang encounters a Boopig in the badlands, which uses its superior strength to dominate the Baneboo in the area's oasis. When they end up getting captured by Team Rocket, Numera steps up to the plate to defend its friends.

EP60 - A Showcase Debut!The Aim to Be Kalos Queen! It's Serena's Debut!!

The day of the Coumarine City Showcase arrives, and the group reunites with Shauna. Serena makes a step towards her dream but quickly learns that first times can be tough.

EP59 - Under the Pledging Tree!Satoshi and Serena's First Date!? The Presents and the Tree of Promises!!

Coumarine City holds an annual festival to celebrate the bond between Trainer and Pokémon. However, when Ash has trouble deciding on a present for his Pokémon, Serena helps inspire him on their shopping trip.

Team Rocket kidnaps Goomy, but Dedenne manages to track them down to save its new friend.

Ash and his friends encounter an extremely timid but friendly Goomy, which finds itself in a slippery situation when Team Rocket sets their eyes on Pikachu.

Clemont and James must work together to save their friends from the evil Malamar that they last encountered when it controlled Officer Jenny as Madame X.

When Serena's mother Grace visits the group on their journey and learns of her daughter's new goal of becoming a Pokémon Performer, Grace wonders if her daughter is truly dedicated to her goals and challenges her to a Skiddo race to prove her determination.

Ash and the others meet up with Sanpei and his Greninja who comes to them for help in dealing with another Ninja Trainer. They help Sanpei out, but something happens to Ash's Froakie.

Ash unknowingly disrupts a play rehearsal, sending its star Gallade out of commission. Ash's Hawlucha and the odd-colored Hawlucha villain must work together to get the play back on track while trying to deal with Team Rocket.

EP50 - An Undersea Place to Call Home!The Undersea Castle! Kuzumo and Dramidoro!!

After encountering the Mock Kelp Pokémon Skrelp on the Muraille coastline, Ash and his friends join two marine archaeologists on an expedition to the sunken luxury liner known as the Cussler where Skrelp, Dragalge, and several marine Pokémon live. However, Team Rocket has their sights set on capturing all of the Pokémon that call the Cussler home.

EP49 - Pathways to Performance Partnering!Go Dance Yancham, Go Charm Fokko! A Step Towards the Future!!

After Pancham and Chespin get into a fight, Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie meet Nini, a Pokémon Performer preparing for the Pokémon Showcase. Serena becomes inspired to add performances to her battle style as well, and has to use it quickly when Team Rocket kidnaps Chespin, Fennekin, Pancham and Nini's Pokémon.

EP48 - Bonnie for the Defense!Send Out the Laplace Guard! Go For It Eureka!! Filler

While walking by herself, Bonnie comes across a group of children who are protecting an injured Lapras from intruders while it rests up before returning to the sea. Bonnie soon joins them in protecting Lapras from Team Rocket.

EP47 - A Campus Reunion!Citron's Campus Memories! The Shocking Reunion!!

Clemont returns to his old school where he relives his younger years and reminisces about a Shinx he had befriended, but was forced to leave it behind after his graduation celebration. When he reunites with it, it has evolved into Luxio ever since and Clemont tries to heal the rift that was caused a few years ago.

EP46 - Dreaming a Performer's Dream!Serena's First Capture!? Yancham vs. Fokko!!

After a Pancham disrupts a Pokémon Showcase and steals Ash's hat and Clemonts's glasses, Serena battles it with her Fennekin in an attempt to capture it and teach it some manners.

EP45 - The Clumsy Crier Quiets the Chaos!The Clutzy Pukurin vs. the Berserk Bohmander!! Filler

On their way to Coumarine City, the group goes to a Pokémon Center where Nurse Joy is assisted by a Wigglytuff with bad luck. However, they all soon find themselves having to deal with a Salamence that has gone out of control, and Wigglytuff is the only one who can save Joy.

EP44 - Splitting Heirs!Citron Against Eureka!? The Nyaonix Sibling Battle!!

Bonnie and Clemont get into a fight after Bonnie wondered off to look for Chespin and when they encounter two brothers and their Meowstic having a rivalry, it gives Clemont a chance to teach Bonnie a lesson.

EP43 - Showdown at the Shalour Gym!Shara Gym Battle! Pikachu vs. Mega Lucario!!

Ash challenges Korrina for the Shalour Gym's Rumble Badge, with his Hawlucha, Fletchinder, and Pikachu facing off against her Mienfoo, Machoke, and Mega Lucario.

EP42 - Origins of Mega Evolution!The Master Tower! The History of Mega Evolution!!

Before they have their Gym Battle, Ash and Korrina must stop Team Rocket after they have stolen a scroll on Mega Evolution from the Tower of Mastery.

EP41 - Battling Into the Hall of Fame!Team Battle! The Hall of Fame Match!!

After all of the activities at the Pokémon Summer Camp, Ash's team and Tierno's team have the same amount of points. To settle the tie, all six will participate in a tag team match. But first, they have to save Tierno, Shauna, and Trevor's Pokémon from Team Rocket.

EP40 - Foggy Pokémon Orienteering!PokéEnteering! The X in the Fog!!

The summer campers participate in a Pokémon Orienteering stamp rally where they must use their Pokémon to navigate through a course to get stamps at various stations. However, Bonnie and Pikachu get lost in the foggy woods and come across a mysterious Pokémon.

EP39 - Day Three Blockbusters!Serena vs. Sana! PokéVision Showdown!!

Serena and Shauna decide to have a little PokéVision contest, but while Serena was looking for locations with her friends, she and Ash become trapped at the bottom of a cliff.

EP38 - Summer of Discovery!Pokémon Summer Camp! The Rival Trio Appears!!

Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie make it to Professor Sycamore's Pokémon Summer Camp, where they meet Shauna, Trevor, and Tierno, who have received Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle from Professor Sycamore for their first Pokémon, and want to test their skills against Ash and his friends.

EP37 - Forging Forest Friendships!The Wriggling Forest of Ohrot!

While practicing for his upcoming Gym battle against Korrina with Hawlucha, Froakie, and Clemont, Ash is kidnapped by the Elder Tree Pokémon Trevenant, leaving Froakie and Hawlucha to trust each other in saving Ash, as Trevenant keeps the others at bay with its power over the forest.

EP36 - The Cave of Mirrors!Reflection Cave! Satoshi and the Satoshi of the Mirror Land!?

While travelling in the Reflection Cave, Ash's reflection takes Pikachu away from him, prompting him to follow into a world within the reflection, leaving Clemont, Serena, and Bonnie to find a way to bring him back. After Ash arrives in the Mirror Dimension, he discovers that his mirror self needs help finding his Pikachu.

EP35 - Battles in the Sky!Sky Battle!? Luchabull Against Fiarrow!!

At Kalos Canyon, Ash learns of the Sky Battle trend and tries it out with Fletchling and Hawlucha against Sky Trainer Moria and her Talonflame.

Continuing on their journey to Shalour City, Ash and his friends come across the Wrestling Pokémon Hawlucha who is protecting a group of Pokémon in the forest from stronger Pokémon like Machamp, Conkeldurr and a Ursaring.

EP33 - The Bonds of Mega Evolution!Mega Lucario Against Mega Kucheat! The Bonds of Mega Evolution!!

The group heads into the mountains around Pomace Mountain and meet with Mabel, a flower arranger who has mastered the art of Mega Evolution herself with her Mawile, prompting Korrina to have a friendly match.

EP32 - Calling from Beyond the Aura!Call Out With Your Heart! Beyond the Aura!!

Korrina's grandfather Gurkinn tasks her with more training to rein in Mega Lucario, and Ash and company accompany her as they travel to Pomace Mountain only to fall into a trap laid by Team Rocket.

EP31 - The Aura Storm!Mega Lucario Against Mega Lucario! A Storm of Auras!!

Korrina finally finds the Lucarionite, but after using it, she loses control of Mega Lucario, who is much too strong for Pikachu to defeat. Her grandfather Gurkinn must step in and take care of matters, with his own Mega Lucario.

EP30 - The Cave of Trials!Lucario vs. Bursyamo! The Cave of Trials!!

Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie help Korrina and her Lucario find the Mega Stone Lucarionite in Geosenge Town's caves, only to come face to face with a Blaziken protecting the caves.

EP29 - Mega Revelations!Corni and Lucario! The Secrets of Mega Evolution!!

Upon arriving in the next town, Ash learns that the Kalos Region Champion Diantha will be holding an exhibition match, but he misses out on the sign up deadline. He heads to Professor Sycamore's lab, being tasked to help in his research on Mega Evolution, when he meets Diantha there by chance. She allows him a friendly match, Pikachu against her Gardevoir, and she shows she knows what Mega Evolution is.

EP26 - To Find a Fairy Flower!Flabébé and the Fairy Flower! Filler

While brushing out her hair, Bonnie tries a new flower accessory, only to discover that a Flabébé is latching onto it because she has lost her Fairy Flower. The gang tries to help Flabébé get a new Fairy Flower, but it appears the season is over.

EP25 - A Battle by Any Other Name!Peroppafu and Peroream!! The Sweet Battle Isn't Sweet!?

While on the road, Serena makes some Poké Puffs for Pikachu and Fennekin, but her cooking skills are attacked by Miette, who has the Meringue Pokémon Slurpuff. The two decide to head to the next town and hold a Poké Puffs Contest to see who is the better pastry chef.

EP24 - Climbing the Walls!Shoyo Gym Battle! Pikachu Against Chigoras!!

Ash and his friends make it to Cyllage City, where Ash plans on challenging the Gym Leader Grant. Having already seen his strategy with Onix at the Battle Chateau, Ash plans on having Froakie face the Rock Pokémon in battle, and later Pikachu against Tyrunt.

EP23 - Coming Back into the Cold!The Aurora Bonds! Amarus and Amaruruga!

Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie meet up with Alexa again, who is covering the new fossil exhibit at the Ambrette Town Museum, meeting the revived fossil Pokémon Amaura and Aurorus in the museum's cold storage. However, Team Rocket arrives to steal Amaura, leaving Ash and his friends on a rescue mission.

EP22 - Going for the Gold!Catch the Golden Koiking!

Ash and his friends make it to Ambrette Town and marvel at its aquarium. They meet the aquarium's director Rodman and his partner Clauncher, and they try to help him complete the aquarium's collection by capturing a gold-colored Magikarp.

EP21 - A PokéVision of Things to Come!It's a Debut! Serena and Fokko's PokéVision!!

After watching a popular celebrity making a PokéVision video with her Pokémon, Serena tries to make one with her Fennekin.

Ash and his friends make it to the Battle Chateau where they participate in some matches while waiting for the battle between Viola and Cyllage City's Gym Leader Grant.

After Team Rocket attempts to consult the mysterious Madame X for help in capturing Pikachu, they are brainwashed by her Malamar, with only Meowth escaping and going to Ash and his friends for help. When Pikachu is captured and brainwashed as well, Ash, Serena, Clemont, Bonnie, and Meowth go to save him and Team Rocket. However, everyone but Ash and Meowth gets brainwashed, leaving them with no idea on how to stop Madame X.

EP18 - Awakening the Sleeping Giant!Wake Up Kabigon! It's a Battle in the Parfum Palace!! Filler

In Camphrier Town, Ash and his friends come across a Snorlax blocking their path. The local King Shabboneau has a Poké Flute that will wake it, but it was stolen by the selfish Princess Allie of Parfum Palace. Ash tries to retrieve it, but the princess demands a Pokémon Battle.

EP17 - A Rush of Ninja Wisdom!Keromatsu Against Gekogahshier! Ninja Battle!!

Ash and his friends meet up with Ninja Trainer Sanpei who owns a Frogadier. Ash challenges Sanpei to a series of ninja-training exercises, as Froakie learns a new move.

EP16 - A Jolting Switcheroo!Dedenne Is Pichu and Pichu Is Dedenne...!? Filler

Bonnie and another girl's bags get mixed up, leaving the other girl with Clemont's Dedenne and Bonnie with the girl's Pichu.

EP15 - An Appetite for Battle!Harimaron vs. Mafoxy! A Diet Battle!? Filler

Chespin gets fat after eating so many of Serena's macarons, so Clemont decides to put it on a diet by making an exercise machine and having it exercise through Pokémon Battles, but Chespin is not making progress.

EP14 - Seeking Shelter From the Storm!The Spooky Shelter! Nyasper Is Watching!! Filler

When Ash and his friends are caught in a rain storm, they find a nearby abandoned mansion to take refuge, but unbeknownst to them Team Rocket has as well. And both groups are frightened by strange occurrences through the house, all centered on a mysterious shadow.

Ash and the group comes across a girl named Penelope who asks to battle Ash, and if she wins he has to go out with her.

EP12 - To Catch a Pokémon Smuggler!Capture the Pokémon Buyer! The Kofuurai Impersonation Plan!!

While heading towards the next city, the group sees a man escaping from Officer Jenny and along the way find a Scatterbug that fell out of the man's truck. It turns out that the man is a Pokémon poacher who has been capturing Vivillon of different patterns and the group decide to help Jenny catch him.

EP11 - The Bamboozling Forest!The Bamboo Forest Chase! Yancham and Goronda!!

While on their journey, the group stops for lunch when they are interrupted by two Pancham. However when Team Rocket attacks, the Pokémon get separated from their trainers. As Ash and his friends try to reach Pikachu, so does Team Rocket, but they cross paths with a Pangoro along the way.

EP10 - Mega-Mega Meowth Madness!Harimaron vs. Mega Mega Nyarth!!

Before heading to Cyllage City, the group decides to stop by the Sycamore Pokémon Lab. Team Rocket decides to kidnap Professor Sycamore, as well as Serena and Bonnie, to pry the professor's mind for the secrets behind Mega Evolution, while Ash and Clemont have to deal with a gluttonous little Chespin with a penchant for macarons.

EP9 - Clemont's Got a Secret!Capture Miare Gym! Citron's Secret!!

Upon returning to Lumiose City, the group meets up with Clemont's and Bonnie's father Meyer who reveals to Ash and Serena that Clemont is Lumiose City's Gym Leader. Meyer also reveals that the Clembot, a robot Clemont had built to look after the gym in his absence, has gone haywire. Ash and Clemont infiltrate the gym to beat the Clembot in a Pokémon battle to take back the Lumiose Gym.

EP8 - Grooming Furfrou!The Pokémon Trimmer and Trimmian!

In the next town, the guidebook reveals that it is home to Charisma Trimmers, people whose expertise is styling the Pokémon Furfrou. Jessica, a Charisma Trimmer in training, is having problems with her confidence, which is only exacerbated by the expert Charisma Trimmer Moussalli, but she is not all who she appears to be.

Ash has his first Gym Battle in the Kalos Region, but he is defeated when Viola's Bug-type Pokémon put up too good a fight. Afterwards, an old friend reunites with Ash.

Clemont tries to capture the Dedenne that keeps stealing their food.
