EP1 - I Want to Be Seen as a Girl!

Tomo Aizawa, a tomboy girl, confesses her love to her childhood friend Kubota Junichirō. However, he mistakes her confession as a casual assurance of friendship between boys, disgruntling her. Later on, Tomo asks her best friend Misuzu Gundo for advice. However, Misuzu says she has rightly portrayed herself as a boy because of her lack of femininity.

EP2 - Tomo's Skirt / The School's Idol

After Tomo gets groped by an old man on the bus, Jun restrains the man, and later suggests that she wear slacks instead of a skirt. Tomo gets mad at the suggestion that she dress more like a boy, but Misuzu later tells her that he was just trying to protect her from future gropers. Misuzu then suggests Tomo try wearing a skirt without shorts to appear more feminine, taking them from Tomo at the end of the school day and setting things up so Jun and Tomo will walk home together. Tomo feels incredibly self-conscious while Jun tries not to look at her. The next day, Misuzu guesses from Tomo's reaction that Jun saw her differently.Carol Olston, a half-English classmate, is popular with the boys. After Tomo runs into Carol and Kosuke in the hallway, Carol begins picking on her, and sees her as a rival. Misuzu sends Carol to Jun, and gives Tomo the motivation to go after him. Meanwhile, Jun only knows that Carol wants to train to take on an unnamed rival, and tries to help her with basic physical training. Tomo finally confronts Jun, and Carol abruptly leaves, finding out the meaning behind Misuzu's words. After school, Carol takes Misuzu out to a pastry shop for cake, and Misuzu convinces Carol to make friends with Tomo. Carol is surprised the next day at school when Tomo accepts unconditionally. Later, Tomo is surprised to find out that Jun went out with Misuzu in middle school.

EP3 - Tomo's Skirt

After Tomo is groped by an old man on the bus, Junichiro suggests that she stop wearing skirts.

EP4 - The School Idol

Tomo meets Carol, an English girl that all the boys in school admire.

EP5 - Best Bud's Secret

Tomo is shocked to learn that Junichiro and Misuzu briefly dated in middle school.

EP6 - Let's Go on a Date!

Tomo decides to invite Junichiro out on a date herself, with help from Misuzu and Carol.

EP7 - Junichiro's Promise / When Tomo Puts On a Swimsuit...

Junichiro flashes back to when he first met Tomo. His family moved into town from Tokyo, and he preferred playing video games, when Tomo leaped over the wall to meet her new neighbor and played with his handheld console. However, Tomo ended up breaking it in half. Tomo and her parents then apologized to Junichiro personally. The replacement handheld was later stolen by some bullies. Tomo beat them up and got the handheld back, but Junichiro let Tomo keep it, claiming he would take it back when he proved he was strong enough to stand up with Tomo. Tomo continues playing said handheld in the present, wondering when Junichiro will come to take it back.Tomo and her friends head to the beach where Tomo tries to get closer to Junichiro by putting on a swimsuit. However, Junichiro cannot bring himself to say that they are a couple, even while defending her from a pushy guy trying to hit on her. Misuzu encourages Tomo to continue staying close with Junichiro to create more opportunities to upgrade their relationship. On the train ride home, Misuzu thinks her plan succeeded.

EP8 - I Want to Be Playful Like a Girl

Tomo wants to experience some girly interaction, like hugging and hand-holding, so she tries it with all of her girl friends.

EP9 - The Angel's True Face

A flashback reveals the moment Kosuke first met and became enamored with Carol. In the present, Kosuke enrolls into Goro's dojo, becoming overwhelmed. When asked by Tomo why did he enter, he reveals he wants to become stronger for Carol's sake. The next day, Carol mistakenly believes Kosuke is attracted to Tomo, so she goes into Junichiro's house to make him jealous. This does work, so Kosuke finally reveals his love for Carol to Misuzu, explaining he has been unable to tell her due to having never seen her vulnerable. To help him, Misuzu makes some painful comments regarding Kosuke's interest for her to Carol, making her flee the school, crying. Misuzu realizes her mistake, and sends Kosuke to her home. There, he tells Carol about Misuzu's lie, and finally confesses his love. Delighted, she accepts Kosuke's confession, and her mother trusts Carol to him after he promises she will not change the way she is for being in love, as she now has friends around her. The next day, Carol gets back at Misuzu by scaring her.

Tomo visits Carol Olston's house and meets Carol's mom.

EP11 - A Feeling I Won't Give Up

Tomo visits Misuzu's house, where gets some help studying for midterms.

EP12 - Heart-Pounding! A Gaming Overnighter

Tomo visits Junichiro's house and... stays overnight?!

EP13 - Birthday Present

Misuzu and Carol give Tomo an extra-girly makeover and send her to the convenience store, where she unexpectedly runs into Junichiro.
