生国、西幽を離れて東離の地に落ち延びたことで一時の安息を得た彼だったが、その消息が仇敵「禍世螟蝗」に知られたことで、再び身辺に危険が迫る。
遙かな西幽より続々と送り込まれる異能、異形の刺客たち。

魔剣の輝きに苦戦を強いられる殤不患（ショウフカン）。助勢に駆けつけようとする浪巫謠（ロウフヨウ）は、凶暴化した嘯狂狷（ショウキョウケン）に手を取られ身動きが取れないでいた。七殺天凌（ナナサツテンリョウ）の気まぐれにより窮地を脱する殤不患だったが、嘯狂狷の救護に現れた凜雪鴉（リンセツア）を放任したために、その甘さに憤った浪巫謠は殤のもとを去ってしまう。

浪巫謠（ロウフヨウ）に負わされた傷により疲弊しきっている蠍瓔珞（カツエイラク）。そんな蠍に対して自らの命を削ることを命ずる七殺天凌（ナナサツテンリョウ）。意識を失いそうになるのを必死で耐え、素早く取り出した封印の呪符を七殺天凌に投げつけ、力を封じにかかるが、七殺天凌は意にも介さぬかのように笑い続けるのであった。
