It is featured in an alternate universe where Shobu had lost his duel against Hakuoh in their duel back in the Season 1 episode "Just Duel It".

A mysterious organization is interested in fledgling duelist Shobu Kirifuda's ability to bring Duel Master creatures to life.

With the support of his friends, Shobu duels with passion, discipline, and heart as he strives to be like his father and become the next Kaijudo master.

      • EP1 - Duel Start!

        Shobu Kirifuda, everyone's favorite hot-shot Duelist receives a mysterious Deck, the Slash Deck. According to his best friend Rekuta Kadoko, the Slash Deck is an invitation to a competition held by an enigma. The gauntlet has been thrown and both Shobu and Rekuta decide to enter the tournament. However, Shobu's greatest rival is also competing!! What does this mean for Shobu?!

      • EP2 - Slash Deck

        Shobu and the other passengers on the ship have arrived at a city surrounded by the seas and said to be the grounds that the tournament will be held upon. Suddenly, a masked man projects his voice throughout the island. The rules of the tournament are as followed: Every participant has three Duel Orbs attached to their chests and will carry out Duels betting these orbs. The one who has gathered an impressive five Duel Orbs by the end of the tournament remains the winner. However, then comes the unbelievable condition!! Apparently, the 20 best cards from the Slash Decks must combined with each player's 40-card Decks, and everyone must follow this unorthodox rule! Will Shobu really be the last player standing?!

      • EP3 - Mana Costs

        After getting the hand of the nature of the competition, Shobu begins to get back all his Duel Orbs in Duel after Duel. But then, a mysterious young man and his monkey - a seemingly weird duo - appears before Shobu. There appears to be more to Seriph than meets the eye. At that moment, the enigmatic masked man announces his newly formed rule: Decks must be composed of cards with six or more Mana Costs. Thanks to this shocking twist of events, everyone strives to create the greatest Deck possible, except for Rekuta, who happens to have personally favorites that he loves using! With these newly formed Decks on the rise, just who's going to take it all?

      • EP4 - Five Souls

        Shobu lost to the strange young man named Jura. According to Jura, a Duel is something to be won at all costs. Realizing that this is the same concept that Hakuoh believed in, Shobu goes off to find him. After getting it together, Shobu and Rekuta got back their 4 Duel Orbs, but then, the mysterious enigma announces another rule change. Everything up until this point has been reversed: Use only cards that have Mana costs of 5 or less. Shobu and friends manage to fix their Decks to adjust to the new rule and search for new opponents. Meanwhile, Jura and June both loom over an unsuspecting Rekuta...

      • EP5 - The Duel of Truth

        Through winning his games playing fair, Shobu has acquired 5 Duel Orbs. Just then, the enigma declares that time is up. Apparently, the entire competition was for the sole purpose of gathering 5 Duelists. All participants are told to meet back on the island in one week's time, and thus they depart the island. Shobu and Rekuta go back to their everyday lives. Then, they are greeted by Mimi and George, and decide to visit the leading authority on dueling, Dr. Root's research facility. But why is it that they find Hakouh there?! And to make matters worse, a new enemy has entered the fray... What will you do, Shobu?!

      • EP6 - Ace

        Shobu and co. meet with a Duelist who can invoke a Duel of Truth, Augre. Despite him summoning the best from of his Dragon Army deck and giving it his all, Shobu suffers a humiliating defeat. Dr. Root gives a depressed Shobu a wooden box. Within the wooden box contains a single Duel Masters card.He remembers that the card is Bolmeteus Musha Dragon from his childhood, and that it contains a dreadful power. Also, the curtains once again open on the tournament afloat the island!! Just what is going to happen next?!

      • EP7 - Angel VS. Dragon

        With his new ace card of Bolmeteus Musha Dragon in hand, our star player Shobu is back in the game. Everyone has been winning left and right with relative ease, until the masked enigma makes a new announcement: all contestants will change the cards they've been using up until this point; two brand new decks will be used.One of these decks prides on high power Angel Commands as the focal point: the Angel Deck . The other centers around a large amount of powerful Dragons: the Dragon Deck . Do these two decks hold the keys to victory?! What will you do now, Shobu??

      • EP8 - Infinity VS. Samurai

        Using his Dragon Deck, Shobu encounters the superb opponent, Wataru Sakata. Regretting his defeat, Wataru shouts from the bottom of his heart that a Duel must be won at all costs so loud that his voice disappears into the underground.A Duel must be won at all costs, were the same sentiments held by Hakuoh. Shobu still does not understand the meaning behind those words, but Mimi and George advise him to ignore them; they once again tell him that by believing in his own game he can make his own decisions and grasp his own victory.Then, he faces his destined opponent, Jura!! The super-intense battle between Shobu's ace, Bolmeteus Musha Dragon and Jura's ace, Geometeus Infinite Dragon begins now!!

      • EP9 - Mimi VS. Hakuoh

        Shobu suffers defeat at the hands of the overwhelming Jura, and loses all 5 of his Duel Orbs to the depths of the earth. Thus, Rekuta gathers all of the Duelists who've already lost underground. Aiming to bring all of the losers back into the game, the masked enigma proposes that anyone who an defeat the Duel Computer will have their wish granted.Everyone takes a stand. But, what about Shobu...?! Meanwhile, above ground, Hakuoh and Mimi Tasogare duel a yet-undecided duel. Can Mimi defeat the one man that she aspires to and yearns for?!

      • EP10 - Abyss

        Within the abyss of the defeated, Shobu and Rekuta continue to believe in their games; the two of them playing to their enjoyment. In order to return above ground, the duelists must challenge the incomprehensible Duel Computer.Meanwhile, the once-defeated Wataru Sakata challenges Shobu once more in order to eliminate the grudge born from his past loss. At that moment, George and Jura begin their duel. One duel underground, another duel above ground - just what exactly is going to happen?!

      • EP11 - Last Hope

        Above ground, Mimi, George, Hakuoh, and Jura engaged in intense duels. On the other hand, Shobu duels Wataru Sakata underground, trying to make him remember the joy of dueling, who then advises that Shobu duels the Duel Computer.Rekuta and all of the underground duelists begin to cheer for a now-determined Shobu. Can he defeat the computer system which can alter its deck to suit the opponent?!

      • EP12 - Super Spark

        The final five Duelists for the tournament are as follows: Hakuoh, Jura, Mimi Tasogare, George, and lastly, Shobu Kirifuda. These five duelists have been gathered to determine the strongest duelist in all Japan, says the enigma who has taken off his mask. The man beneath the mask was none other than... With everything revealed, everyone leaves the tournament site.With everything said and done, Shobu and Hakouh duel each other once again! Shobu duels with everything he has, but Hakuoh has a trick up his sleeve: A single card that he has never used against anyone else up until this point: the immobilizing Super Spark!! What awe-inspiring power does it hold?!
