Konjiki no Gash Bell!!
Takamine Kiyomaro, a depressed don't-care-about-the-world guy, was suddenly given a little demon named Gash Bell to take care of.
Little does he know that Gash is embroiled into an intense fight to see who is the ruler of the demon world.
All of the demons have to pick a master on Earth and duke it out with other demons until one survives.
Needless to say, Kiyomaro becomes Gash's master, and through their many battles, Kiyomaro learns the importance of friendship and courage.

EP93 - A Voice From Another World! Filler
Sherry and Brago continue their attack on Maestro's barrier in order to test the limits of the coil. They find out Ion Gravirei is the limit which the coils can handle. Kiyo casts Zagurzem and combined with Ion Gravirei breaks through Maestro's barrier. At that moment, the door to the Mamodo world is completely open. He offers Zatch and Brago a chance to join him, which they refuse. Zatch uses Bao Zakeruga and Brago uses Baber Gravidon to attack Maestro. Maestro manages to hold the spells back until they combine to make a black Bao Zakeruga which causes his defeat. Maestro explains that he was left in the In-between World when crossing to the human world for the Mamodo battle and feeling abandoned by the Mamodo world, plans to destroy it. Brago burns Maestro's book. Using Bao Zakeruga and Dioga Gravidon , they are able to return home.

Zatch is making a new Vulcan 300 when Tia comes over. Elsewhere, Dr. Riddles is depressed over the lost of Kido. Folgore and Kanchome, while in America, decide to visit Dr. Riddles.

After Kiyo goes to school, Zatch volunteers to do the shopping for Kiyo's mother. Ponygon accompanies him, and on the way, he notices that the park has become a mess.

EP90 - The Hurricane Test Battle!
Suzy is happy that Kiyo is back and wants to welcome him back. She guesses that this is the day Kiyo is back and she's correct. Kiyo's happy to be having a calm meal with the family again. Ponygon gets told off by Zatch to eat his carrots. Kafk Sunbeam then arrives to bond with him for the day while Kiyo goes to school.Kiyo argues with Zatch about going to school as Suzy finds him. Suzy imagines a happy reunion with Kiyo only for Kiyo to run off. Zatch loses Volcan to a runaway truck leaving Kiyo alone. Suzy tries to say hello to Kiyo only for his friends to beat her to the punch.Zatch finally gets Volcan due to a stray cat. The truck then loses it's cargo of frozen yellowtail which Zatch is more than happy to catch. Everyone's happy to see Kiyo including the teacher, Mr. Touyama. For Kiyo's return, he makes everyone take a pop quiz. Kiyo gets every question except the last one. Zatch then flies in on the yellowtail. This irritated Mr. Touyama and tells Kiyo to take Zatch to the nurse's office. There's also another delay involving Nakata's Wife bringing lunch. Mr. Touyama torments Kiyo about finishing the test. In the end, Kiyo is unable to finish the last question. He takes a breath hoping that it would be at least a 90%.The next day, Mr. Touyama gives everyone their tests back while Zatch and Ponygon are playing in the back. Kiyo is shocked that the last question was 30% of the grade. He tries to get rid of it via Ponygon but it doesn't work. Everyone is shocked by this development. Suzy got the question right which surprised both her and Kiyo. He argues with the teacher about how the last question was worded and in retaliation Mr. Touyama plans a quiz for the following day covering stuff that Kiyo missed. Zatch and Ponygon are angry at this and Ponygon bites Touyama's butt as payback.Kiyo's friends offer their assistance via their notebooks but they're a mess. Kiyo asked Kaneko for help only for him to refuse. With Touyama in the background, Kiyo promises to get the information even if he has to beg for everyone's notes. Suzy is happy that Kiyo is getting along with everyone even in this weird circumstance. Mary Lou Yamada also comments on how Kiyo is asking everyone for help for once. Kiyo is happy for all the notes while the students chant for UFOs in celebration.The following day Zatch and Ponygon play tag with Mr. Nakata. Kaneko's upset that everyone will like get 100% for all the notes everyone passed around. As the test begins, everyone is outraged at the questions used as they include 'describe the first time I fell in love.' Mr. Touyama laughs at Kiyo's misery only for the Principal to arrive looking for Zatch's guardian. He yells at Touyama for the way the test was presented.Later Touyama gets suspended and Kiyo's friends head home with him. Suzy finally tells Kiyo welcome back when everyone else has gone home.

It's the first day of the new year. Folgore and Kanchome come to Kiyo's house to tell him of a dream he had. In his dream, Victoream and his book owner scale a mountain and obtain the Very Melon spell, which grants him a wish from Makoto Raiku.

Brago's spell defeats Zofis's spell, and Koko is saved from falling into the magma. Zofis tells Sherry that once his book is burned, Koko will regain her persona but will retain the memories of all her evil deeds committed with Zofis.

Zatch's Bao Zakeruga breaks through Zofis' strongest attack and injures him. Kiyo prepares to finish Zofis off with Zakeruga but is interrupted by Sherry and Brago.

Zofis aims his attacks at Sherry and injures her leg. He then destroys the ground they are on and sends them into the crack in the mountain.

Elsewhere, Zofis's barrier is simultaneously destroyed along with the moonstone. Koko reveals herself to Sherry soon after. Albert collapsed when the moonstone was destroyed as Zofis' mind control had been broken.

EP82 - Selfish Penny's Goodbye
Zatch and Kiyo try to battle Demolt. After he attacks with his big fist technique, Zatch climbs up his hand and Kiyo launches the Baou Zakeruga. It barely affects the monster as Kiyo drops to the ground. Ponygon tries to attack as Laila moves around the field with Albert. Then Penny starts helping them by launching a So Giaku to protect Zatch and Kiyo. She tries her best to fight it but it is too big.She tries aiming for the crystal that gives him power that located in the ceiling but he stops her. Byonko is hiding because he is scared but Penny tries her best to stop Demolt. Zatch tries to help by combining his spell with Penny. After almost being attacked, Byonko faces his fear and attacks.The mamodo proves to be too strong and Penny tries a So Gaiku spell right on his face but he still attacks. Demolt comes in for a final blow while Penny is crashing to the ground when Bianco dives in front of her and protects her with a spell but it isn't powerful enough and Bianco's book starts to burn. Penny's book catches on fire as she thanks Bianco for everything. Bianco disappears as Tia heals everybody on the other side with Saifogeo. Penny tries one last attempt at getting past Demolt and heading for the crystal. With one last So Giaku, she destroys the rock while Demolt aims a spike attack right at Penny. She is unable to dodge but Zatch and Ponygon rescue her as her book is still burning.Zatch tells Penny before she leaves that she was nice and he liked her after all. Penny wishes them good luck in the battle.

Vile's mind is not being controlled and it seems he supports Zofis and defeats mamodo just for fun. Zatch and the others are outraged at his self-indulgent and arrogant attitude. They make repeated desperate attacks against Demolt, but Zatch and the others have a hard time making a breakthrough. Moreover, several comrades are slow to recover from damage they've suffered. Now Zatch, Ponygon and Laila just have to tough it out.

The group is in no condition to fight but luckly is saved when Laila,one of the attacking mamodo's turns out to be a traitor and saves the group. It appeares two mamodo's controled by z can't attack each other. While Dalmos powered up and attacks Laila advises them to run. After giving his book to Tia so she can protect it, Zatch and Kiyo team up with Laila to fight Dalmos. Dalmos gains a huge advantage though, since he can attack zatch but Laila can't attack Dalmos. After a frightening display of power Laila appears to have given up, when Ponygon appears with his book owner to take over the fight.

When they think that they finally trapped the two mamodo, a huge armored mamodo named Ganz appears behind Kanchome and Folgore. Now, Kiyo, Zatch, Megumi, Tia, Kanchome and Folgore fight agaisn't Alm and two new mamodo, a blue dragon named Geluos and Ganz. The room ends up flooding. Unfortunatly, the lightning spells don't work underwater. Now Kiyo, Zatch and the rest of the gang must come up with a plan to defeat the mamodo's before they call in for help. Meanwhile, Sherry and Brago fight another Millennium Mamodo and also encounter Dr. Riddles and Kiddo.

One day, Kanchome carelessly climbs into a traveling circus troop's truck after seeing some candy and is taken away from Folgore... again. The town of Monte Frio in Spain - The clumsy Kanchome keeps failing at his circus act and longs to reunite with Folgore. On his day off, he meets a little girl named Rushka, who is surprisingly pleased with Kanchome's silly circus act. He soon finds out that a mamodo and his evil partner Fredo are plaguing Rushka's small rural town by stealing everything in sight. Kanchome, with a sudden surge of courage, vows to help Rushka.

A stranger offers Zatch, a free ticket for a vacation at a Spring resort. Zatch, Kiyo & Suzie all go to the spring resort. Zatch and Kiyo receive a strange invite to a secret spring resort only to find out that it is a trap set up by a Hunter and his Momodo to catch it's prey (Zatch and Kiyo).After nearly being beaten by the Hunter, Kiyo finally comes up with a genius plan at the last moment to outsmart the Hunter and escape safely.

EP38 - Battle In Hong Kong Part 2
Li-en, Kiyo and Zatch ride an elevator up to see Wonrei. At the top they meet a Mamodo and his human parter (the mamodo looks like a blue bat) which say Wonrei is locked in a jail cell and claim they want to take care of them first. A Zakeru spell was used, but doesn't even phase the other mamodo.Li-en goes to save Wonrei in a cell and Wonrei asks why she came. Meanwhile the other mamodo uses the spell Garu Yuruk which causes him to turn into a flying spinning green ball which attacks Zatch and Kiyo. The mamodo's name is revealed to be Zabas. Zabas and Galliont claim after they defeat Zatch they will then take care of Wonrei in his cell. Zabas uses Oru Wigar which prompts Zatch to use Rashirudo, unfortunately Zabas claims he's seen a million shield spells and causes his spell to change course around the shield and hit Zatch and Kiyo making the shield disappear. At this moment Zatch's book begins to glow.Li-en attempts to revive Wonrei's spirit claiming she'll fight with him because she cares for him, but Wonrei responds that he hates her and wants her to leave him alone.Galliant and Zabas approach Li-en and Wonrei and she puts her arms out to shield Wonrei and says she will protect him. Wonrei pleads for her to leave. Kiyo and Zatch tell Wonrei how much Li-en cares for him.This prompts a flashback to him claiming that when he because king he will protect all mamodo. Galliant and Zabas are unsympathetic. Garu Yuruk is used and aimed at Wonrei and Wonrei throws Li-en the book and tells her to use the fourth spell. She does leading to punching Zabas mid air. With his fist glowing blue, Wonrei thanks Li-en and asks if she's ready, and she replies she is.With his helmet broken Zabas responds with another Oru Wigar. He steers and controls the attack towards Wonrei who uses double palms that capture the wind and defensive hands which capture a flaming sphere , and finally Redoruk to stop the attack.Wonrei kicks Zabas mid air and blocks all his attacks with Kong Fu . Another Go Boren attacks and defeats Zabas knocking him into Galliont.Wonrei thanks Kiyo who says it was Li-en's passion to thank. Zatch asks Wonrei if he'll be a kind king and Wonrei replies Yes, of course . Kiyo and Zatch say they'll stay behind and let Wonrei and Li-en escape. Wonrei carries Li-en off the cliff.Zabas says Wonrei mocked him by not burning his book. Zabas now attacks Zatch again with Garu Yuruk and Kiyo smiles as he uses the 5th spell Zakeruga, which is a Zakeru which goes straight . Zabas tries to defend himself, but it penetrates his wing armor and fires him back at Galliont burning his book in the process.Finally Li-en and Wonrei meet with Li-en's father at the shores who has a boat. Li-en's father attempts to attack him with a sword, but holds off claiming Wonrei is foolish. He then kicks the boat away saying Some stupid fool left this boat unattended . Li-en asks her to let Zatch and Kiyo go, which it's implied he will. Wonrei and Li-en ride off on the unattended boat.The story ends with Kiyo giving Suzie tickets and Zatch giving Naomi a meat bon which she squishes and breaks because it gets stuck in her teeth.

EP37 - Battle In Hong Kong
Li-en asks her father to return Wonrei to her but he refuses and sends her to Japan. On the way to the movies, Zatch and Kiyo's book is stolen by Li-en. She then returns their book and tells Kiyo that her father is a mafia boss and that he captured her Mamodo Wonrei. She asks Kiyo to help her free Wonrei. They travel to Hong Kong to an island where Li-en's father's gang of triads keep their treasure and weapons. After defeating some men on the way, they take an elevator to the top of the island where Wonrei is imprisoned. At the top of the island however is the Mamodo Zabas and his partner Galliont are awaiting for the elevator's arrival.

EP36 - Collision: Zatch Vs. Naomi
Zatch has a nightmare about Naomi. One where Naomi's face is on everyone he knows in life including Suzy and Kiyo. Zatch has so many nightmares that it keeps Kiyo up at night and neither of them can get any sleep. Kiyo sees a news story about a lion at the zoo and decides to go see it and invites Zatch, but Zatch says he's busy that day, so Kiyo goes with Ponygon and Suzy instead.At the entrance of the zoo, Kiyo meets his two other friends which think Kiyo is on a date with Suzie which Kiyo denies. Meanwhile Zatch is in a series of competitions with Naomi, who wins by supposedly cheating. One such competition is a race where Zatch runs on foot and Naomi uses her pedal car and ends up running Zatch over and winning. In another competition, Zatch falls in Naomi's pitfall trap and Naomi hangs Volcan 300 on a poll to Zatch's dismay. Naomi then escorts the other children to go play somewhere else. One kids notes that Naomi is the best playground bully ever, while another says he thinks she has a crush on Zatch, prompting the first to state that that makes it even better.Ponygon and Suzie somehow stumble into the the lion's cage, but think they are on the outside with the crowd in the cage. However, the lion had already escaped causing an outbreak at the zoo.Simultaneously, Zatch has escaped from Naomi's pitfall and is now trying to rescue Vulcan 300 from the poll, the kids tell Zatch that Naomi is in trouble. Zatch then hears the story of how Naomi was trying to catch a lizard but then fell down a vertical cliff. Zatch then heads to the cliff only to see Naomi sitting on a ledge. Zatch proceeds to jump down and save her, but another kid says how impressed he with Zatch for saving her after all she's done to him. Zatch is stopped for a moment with a flash back, but still proceeds to save her. Zatch then out of fear catches himself from falling down the cliff on a branch. Zatch then notices the escaped lion is near Naomi on the cliff and probably came out of a nearby cave. Zatch is still immobilized by fear and Naomi seeing Zatch in trouble somehow scales the cliff like a freak monster, saves Zatch and greets the kids at the top.Lastly, Kiyo sees Zatch and Naomi on tv with the lion. The reporter is interviewing Naomi who says she wasn't scared at all, but Zatch was scared of the lion. However Zatch pulls out a thorn from the lion's paw and befriends the lion, prompting the reporting to change focus to Zatch. Naomi gets jeolous and throws a lizard at Zatch's face. Zatch then screams She really is the lizard queen from the foreshadowing of his dream at the beginning of the episode.

EP35 - The Final Mirror Battle Filler
Part Five in the Five Part Magic Mirror Series. Kiyo and Zatch charge Grisor who had increased its strength with the power of the magic mirror. They try to look for a chance to attack with their teamwork, but instead they are shot down by the horrifying destructive powers of Grisor's flame magic. Grisor and Dr. Hakase are overjoyed with the new ultimate power that they acquired. Kiyo and Zatch argue that 'a power that they had acquired by depending on an object is by no means true power. Without the will to change yourself, humans and mamodos cannot grow...' Dr. Hakase and Grisor attack them intending to finish them off. With no spells powerful enough to fight back, Shion throws herself at Dr. Hakase to take back the mirror. After losing Nya, Shion was preoccupied, but after hearing Kiyo's words, she realized that she had been depending on Nya and was running away from reality. But Dr. Hakase easily throws her off. Kiyo and Zatch muster up their last strength to get revenge for Nya and avenge Shion's courage. Dr. Hakase activates their most powerful spell in an attempt to finish the battle. Grisor, transforms into a mamodo of flames, and when their spells collide, the scorching battle knocks down trees. Suddenly the magic mirror shatters into pieces. The dragon of the electric shock crushes Grisor and Dr. Hakase. Grisor's book burns and Kiyo and his friends finally are victorious. A few days later, Shion says good-bye to Kiyo and Zatch. She decided to leave town to make her first steps on her own. Despite their sadness, Kiyo and Zatch see Shion off with a smile.

EP34 - Sunset Soaked In Tears Filler
Part Four of the Five Part Magic Mirror Series. Kiyo and Zatch, with Shion and Nya go after Grisor who had stolen the restored Magic Mirror. Dr. Hakase leads Grisor with a wireless radio and draws them into a trap that they had prepared beforehand. However, Kiyo and his friends overcome these traps with Nya's powers. And finally, Dr. Hakase, appears in front of them. Dr. Hakase reveals that the magic mirror's power does not let you escape the battle to decide the mamodo king, and that what he had told Shion and Nya was a big lie. Dr. Hakase, in front of a stunned Shion and an enraged Nya, reflects the spell's book's light to the magic mirror to shine it on Grisor. Then suddenly, Grisor with a horrifying howl transforms himself into a giant and heinous creature. The intensification of a mamodo's powers---- that was the true power of the magic mirror. As Dr. Hakase chants a spell, Grisor spews out a powerful flame from his fingertip and completely burns down the surrounding area. Kiyo and Zatch are shocked by Grisor's overwhelming powers. Nya attacks, and Shion follows behind. However, Grisor easily manages to fend off their attack. Just when Grisor is about to finish Nya off, Shion confronts him. Zatch's spell is unable even to make one scratch on Grisor. Right when Grisor's flames are about to hit Shion, Nya musters up his last strength and saves Shion with a body slam. However, Nya's book is engulfed in flames. Draped in light Nya disappears in Shion's crying arms. Zatch is enraged. Grisor laughs them off and surrounds them in a field of flames with his most powerful spell. But Kiyo and Zatch refuse to give up and charge at Grisor in order to put an end to this tragic battle over the magic mirror!

EP33 - The Joining Of The Three Filler
Part Three in the Five Part Mamodo Mirror Series. Being given the final piece of the Mirror from Zatch, Shion takes them to Grisor, who has the remaining piece. Kiyo and Zatch, want to learn more about the Mirror, so they tag along. Grisor greets them humbly in his small, ramshackle apartment. According to Grisor's story, if you have the powers of the Mirror, you are able to escape the battle for King of the Mamodo World. But when the Mirror was brought into the Human World , it was broken into three pieces and scattered around the globe. According to Grisor's human partner, Dr. Hakase, if they bring all the pieces to a set of ancient ruins nearby, the broken mirror will be restored, but... Kiyo and Zatch don't trust Grisor, so they decide to go with him and Shion to the ruins. Shion is delighted, thinking that she can now stay with Nya forever. Secretly monitoring the group from afar is Dr. Hakase. Hakase has been trying to get his hands on the powers of the Mamodo Mirror in order to get revenge on the Academic Society that kicked him out. Grisor, following Dr. Hakase 's directions over a radio transmitter, leads Kiyo and the others deep into the woods. When they reach the ruins, Grisor explains that they must perform a 'ritual' to rejoin the Mirror. The ritual is, basically, to 'dance'at the altar. Zatch and Nya begin to dance. Kiyo eventually overcomes his embarrassment and joins in! Meanwhile, Grisor and, Shion fit the three pieces of the mirror into an indentation in the wall. With a bright light, the Mirror finally regains its former shape. Grisor quickly steals the restored Mirror. The dance was just a ploy to get Kiyo and the others away from the Mirror. The ancient ruins were just a mock-up, as well. Putting up a shroud of smoke, Grisor begins to run. Kiyo and the others run after him...

EP32 - Shion's Secret Filler
Part Two of the Five Part Mamodo Mirror SeriesShion begs Zatch to give her the fragment of the mysterious Mirror, but Zatch tells her it's his treasure and is not willing to give it up. Shion seems to have a mysterious reason for wanting it, and vows to retrieve it by any means necessary. Finally, she decides she must steal it. The next day, on the way to school, Shion wistfully tells Kiyo and Zatch that she is their friend, no matter what may happen, even if they come to dislike her. At school, Shion tries several methods to retrieve the mirror piece, but is ultimately unsuccessful. On the way home, she is alone with Zatch and asks him one last time for the mirror. When Zatch refuses, Shion takes out her spell book. Nya is a mamodo, and when Shion recites her spell, Zatch is forced to dance along with Nya uncontrollably. But Nya doesn't really want to fight and releases Zatch, so Shion is forced to use their most powerful spell. Just then, Kiyo arrives to save Zatch. Shion explains that her parents are gone and Nya became her only friend. They vowed to stay together forever. Then several mamodo began to challenge them to battles, threatening to send Nya away. Finally a mamodo called Grisor offered them a deal; find the pieces of the Mamodo Mirror and Shion and Nya could remain together forever. Moved by their struggle, Zatch offers them his piece of the mirror. But watching them from afar are Grisor and Dr. Hakase. Grisor is delighted that the mirror has been found, and now he can become the mamodo king.

EP31 - The Cute Transfer Student Filler
A Mamodo and his partner are in an active volcano finding a piece of something. The mamodo is unhappy that it broke into three pieces but is determined to get all the pieces of it.Meanwhile Zatch is fishing for Yellowtail when he comes across one shard of the mirror. He's entraced by it as another guy arrives in town with a paper pinwheel in his pocket. He snips together a paper rose and leaves it on the bus bench.As Kiyo gets ready for school, Zatch shows off the mirror shard. Kiyo suggests that Zatch puts it away or someone could steal it. Zatch quickly puts the mirror shard in the Volcan 300 as Kiyo leaves. He runs into Suzy who walks with him to school and mentions that there's a new transfer student.At school the transfer student introduces herself as Shion Hibiki. Right away everyone is overtaken by her cuteness except for Kiyo and ask her various questions. Kiyo only gets interested when a cat named Nya pops out of her bag. The teacher doesn't like bending the rules to allow cats in the room but Shion gets upset because Nya is all the family she has left. The kids have no problem with it because Kiyo brings Zatch every day and the teacher brings his wife. The teacher eventually submits and allows the cat to stay.Nya and Zatch get along well as the guy from the bus stop leaves another paper rose at the school gate. After school, Shion asks if she can walk home with Kiyo. She pulls him as Zatch carries Nya. All of Kiyo's friends are upset, especially Suzy.As they walk, Shion talks about how she and Nya are alike while noting that Nya bonded with Zatch quickly. Kiyo notes how 'brutally honest' or forthcoming Shion is for being a transfer student. Shion mentions how she's scared of being alone but then shakes it off. Shion wants to be friends with the pair and while Kiyo is hesitant, Zatch immediately accepts them as friends.He introduces them to Volcan 300 only to drop his mirror shard. Shion is immediately fascinated with the mirror shard as the pinwheel guy shows up. He claims that he found it and demands that Zatch hand over the mirror shard. The guy pulls out a spellbook which shocks Zatch and Kiyo. They tell Shion to go home and she obeys while Kiyo gets his spellbook. The guy summons his mamodo, Cut N' Paste leaving Kiyo dumbfounded at the dumb name. He demands that they hand over the mirror piece too which makes Kiyo think it's valuable.Cut N' Paste begins with Shizaruk which slices the air. Thankfully Zatch and Kiyo dodge it as Cut N' Paste makes human paper cut outs. With Paperuk, the paper is brought to life and attacks them. Kiyo is slapped silly and he uses Zaker to throw them off. Kiyo gets up only for Ganzu Poreid to make him stuck to the ground. Zatch counters with Zaker only for one of the scissors on Cut N' Paste's body to be thrown up like a lightningrod. Kiyo tries a Rashield to block the next attack only for Cut N' Paste to slice through it.Kiyo asks about the mirror fragment again only for Kiichiro to say that it's none of their business. Zatch is about to hand it over when Kiyo says that people like Cut N' Paste shouldn't have it. Using a Gigano Shizaruk, the pair attack Kiyo and Zatch once again. Kiyo comes up with a plan and uses Jikerdo to turn Cut N' Paste into a magnet. The spell Cut N' Paste uses backfires and his book is burned.Afterwards Kiyo wonders if the mirror had to do something about the battle for mamodo king. Shion finds Zatch and Kiyo because she was worried about them. The pair who found the first mirror shard look at the pair noting that Zatch is powerful. They aren't worried though because their next plan is in play. Zatch shows Shion the mirror shard. She then asks if she can have it.

EP30 - Zatch And Tia: A Fierce Combination
At the amusement park, Kiyo and Zatch battle against the enemy tag team of Lupa and Purio and Hige and Zoboron, then Megumi and Tia arrive on the scene and it becomes a battle of 4 against 4. Tia is burning with anger because her day off with Kiyo and Zatch has been utterly ruined. Lupa and Purio come at them with fierce speed, but Megumi and Tia drive off. So, the tag team switches partners and surround Kiyo and company with Formation 2! Due to Zoboron's attack from one side, and the united attack of Hige and Purio from the other, adhesive fluid strikes Kiyo and company from all directions. Megumi casts an all defense spell, but it loses to the power of their strong spell and she's blown away. Kiyo realizes that to bring down the enemy, a point blank Zaker is necessary. But Zatch has not yet recovered from the attack he suffered earlier. Kiyo works out a plan. Using the adhesive fluid from their enemy's spell, Kiyo attaches Zatch to the back of Tia, who charges toward the enemy. The enemy is caught off guard andKiyo's plan is a success. Tia launches the same attack again. But this time Hige plows into them. Just in the nick of time, Zatch's numbness disappears a little, and he uses his own body as a shield to protect Tia. After a series of failures, internal discord in the enemy tag team begins. Capitalizing on that, our heroes attack together. Zoboron's book glows, but Lupa and Purio throw up a smokescreen and escape. After holding off the enemy, the four of them enjoy their day off at the amusement park.

EP29 - Amusement Park Battle
Kiyo and Zatch arrive at the amusement park much earlier than the time that they were supposed to meet Megumi and Tia. They decide to go inside and take a look around. Meanwhile, the Mamodos Purio and Zoboron, and their book's owners, Rupa and Hige, were walking around the same park.The four had formed a tag team to make up for their weaknesses, and had come to Japan to look for their opponents. Kiyo and Zatch see Rupa and the rest of the team trying to destroy the amusement park's facility, and lure them to the empty pool. Purio attacks with a liquid that launches from his mouth. Meanwhile, Zoboron launches a huge explosion , but its speed is surprisingly slow. Zatch thought that he could dodge the attack, but the liquid had solidified restricting his movement. At the last second, his shoes came off, and Kiyo and Zatch managed to dodge the attack. They split up to counterattack, but Kiyo loses his book to Rupa who jumps in at a super fast speed, and Zatch is hit by another of Purio's liquid attacks. Seeing his chance, Zoboron launches an attack on Kiyo who manages to get away from danger thanks to Zatch's tackle. Then, mysteriously, Kiyo launches a Zaker spell into the sky. To finish them off, Hige casts a spell that is so powerful it even destroys the Rashield. On top of that, Zatch's body had become numb from the liquid's poison. Luckily, Tia and Megumi arrive to save the two at the last minute. The Zaker spell that Kiyo had launched earlier was to tell Megumi and Tia their location. Now, Kiyo and Zatch have gained a powerful ally, and the battle of the amusement park tag teams begins!

EP28 - Tia And Megumi's Excellent Adventure
Tia and Megumi wrap up filming for a music video in the morning anxious for the free weekend. They plan on spending it with Zatch and Kiyo at the amusement park. Zatch wakes Kiyo up too early much to his dismay.Tia's enthusiastic about the vacation since she planned it herself. Getting the pair to come to the amusement park was really easy with a little teasing. Megumi notes on how much Tia has changed since they first met.Kiyo meets up with his friends who remark on how they're Megumi fans and Kiyo isn't. While they're talking, Suzy Mizuno shares her Yellowtail burger with Zatch. He accidentally lets it slip that they're visiting Megumi so Kiyo tries to pull him away. However he doesn't get far as his friends are angry with him. Kiyo uses some verbal misdirection to get his friends off his back but Suzy gets upset. She twists the action figure she got as Kiyo runs off with Zatch.While Tia and Megumi are waiting for their train, they decide to go shopping for new clothes. Zatch runs into Naomi and remembers that he had to race her that morning. Kiyo mentions that there's plenty of time while hoping he dressed right.At the clothing store, a limo parks out front with a princess coming out. She's targeted by a sniper but the servant Oren, get in his way. The princess, Marie, thinks of a way to get away from Oren only to get her chance when Megumi walks into the store. She offered to swap dresses for the day only to steal Megumi's purse. When Megumi realizes what's happening, she has already left the store. She tries to pursue only to get mistaken for the princess by Oren. Tia helps Megumi get free and forces an apology out of Oren. He reveals that her life is in danger.As Megumi and Tia search, Megumi sympathizes with Marie wanting for a normal life. They are found by some Assassin so Megumi offers to distract him while Tia finds Marie. Megumi gets help from Oren only for the mercenary to realize that she's not the princess. Tia ends up finding Marie right after the mercenary leaves. Marie apologizes only for Tia explain that Megumi's in danger.They find her and Oren in the lot of an abandoned apartment building with the mercenary. Tia pulls out the spell book only for Marie to reveal herself to the mercenary. She exclaims that she had to take responsibility instead of running away from her duties. The mercenary fires the bullets as Tia tosses the book to Megumi. They use a Ma Seshield to stop the bullets leaving everyone else in shock. They then use a Saisu to attack the mercenary.As Zatch and Kiyo get ice cream, Marie apologizes to Megumi and Tia for stealing her clothes. Ever since her parents died at a young age, she's always been self-reliant and now letting strangers help her. Megumi also notes that Marie was a lot like Tia when the pair first met. The pair race towards the train as they're five minutes late already. Oren remarks on how similar Tia and Marie are and Marie comments that Tia might be a queen someday.

EP27 - Danny Boy
Kiyo shows a news paper that shows the Shemira statue. Kiyo tells Zatch about a yellowtail to show how excited people can get about the Shemira statue. The mamodo guarding the statue is called Danny and his bookowner is Mr. Goldo which calls him Danny Boy. This irritates Danny and he tells him to stop calling him that, because he's not a kid. Mr. Goldo disagrees and tells him to respect his elders while telling him to guard the statue. Danny doesn't know why this 'hunk of rock' is so important.Zatch and Ponygon ride to the museum to check out the statue only to run into Danny getting a snack. He denies them food only to realize that the two of them are mamodo. He gets in a fight with them only for Zatch to yell that he wants to see the statue. Danny is dumbfounded but allows them to see the statue.The trio find Mr. Goldo tied up with the statue gone. Apparently the museum director and some of the guards were thieves and they stole the statue. Zatch offers to help and tracks the thieves to the docks. Mr. Goldo is impressed with Zatch commenting that Danny could learn some things from him.Zatch sends Ponygon back with a message to Kiyo to meet up with him. Danny, Zatch and Mr. Goldo find the room the statue is in. Danny comments on Zatch's strength and that he will protect Zatch and Mr. Goldo with his spell. Danny busts down the door and uses it to protect the pair. Danny kicks down a bunch of guards but they get some good hits on him Mr. Goldo then casts Jioruku to heal Danny up. The thief leader then threatens Mr. Goldo. Danny hestitates but Mr. Goldo tells him to protect the statue because the life of a human isn't as important as inspiring a generation. Zatch tries to help but only does when Kiyo finally shows up.The group get the statue back and are allowed to look at it. Zatch is confused as the crooks are taken in by the police. The leader of the thieves tries to get away and rams a truck into a pile of concrete rings. Danny holds up the rings to protect the statue. Danny tells Zatch to blow up the concrete but Mr. Goldo realizes that Danny's book is in the truck along with the statue. Zatch doesn't want to blow up a friend but eventually he does so. Mr. Goldo uses the Jioruk spell one last time to heal Danny's wounds before he returns to the mamodo world.

EP26 - A Day With Zatch
One day, Zatch does not follow Kiyo to school but goes off to play by himself. After helping out Ivy at the botanical garden, Zatch decides to have lunch on a hilltop with a nice view, but he cannot find his box lunch! It seems that he dropped it when Naomi was chasing him.Suddenly, a giant old woman named Nana Baba sits next to Zatch. Disappointed that he lost his lunch to a girl, she shares her lunch with him. Zatch decides to return the favor by helping Nana Baba find her son, Tadashi, and his new fiancé, Hiromi. After trying the police station, Zatch notices how worn down Nana Baba's clothes are. Apparently she crossed three mountain ranges on foot to see Hiromi without Tadashi knowing.Zatch suggests they look for Tadashi's room to find out where his fiancé is. He mentions using his sense of smell to find Hiromi the same way he found Kiyo. She says that she hates girls who wears cheap jewelry and short skirts while showing her a mother's wrath. Zatch freaks out when he spots someone who has those clothes but also a yellow tanktop and pink hair. She gets on a bus and Nana Baba chases after it. Zatch runs ahead of her but runs into the bus when it stops at a red light.Zatch wakes up to find Nana Baba talking with Hiromi. He freaks out but Nana Baba gives her a wedding ring that she got from her own husband. She accepts and calls Nana Baba 'mother.' Zatch then heads home wondering if his own mother was like that. Kiyo notes Zatch was late but also that he's grown a bit.

EP25 - Apollo, The Free Traveler Part 2
Continuing where the last episode left off, Zatch and Kiyo are locked in a fierce Mamodo battle with Rops and Apollo, but Apollo seems to know how Kiyo thinks. This make Kiyo panic for a bit. Thankfully Zatch gets him back to his senses and they get in a shot. Zatch then asks what kind of king he wants to be. Rops simply holds up his scarf.Apollo explains how he and Rops met. One day Apollo went into a country that was impossible to leave. Apollo gets directions out of the country with some kids. Rops was among those kids and when they were close, a gate blocked their way out. Apollo refused to give up though and that caused Rops' book to glow. Using his spell, Rops is able to get Apollo over the gate. The kids let Rops go with them and give him a scarf.After the story, Apollo realized that Rops wanted to be a king of freedom. They use their strongest spell against Kiyo who countered with Baou Zakeruga. There's a massive explosion but Zatch and Kiyo are unable to move due to exhaustion. That evening Apollo and Rops leave to continue exploring the world.

EP24 - Apollo, The Free Traveler
While getting some tools to fix the gate Zatch and Ponygon broke, Kiyo sees Suzy get saved by Rops and Apollo. Seeing that they're good people, Kiyo avoids a fight with him. Apollo notices that Kiyo is a book owner too and notes that he doesn't like fighting either.Apollo gets intrigued and challenges Kiyo and Zatch to a battle. Meanwhile Zatch runs into Lori reminding him of his goal to become a kind king. Their battle begins and Apollo and his partner appear to have the upper hand.

EP23 - Go For It, Ponygon!
Zatch and Kiyo return home from England saying goodbye to his father, Kory, Djem and many others. When they're at the airport, they notice that a strange horse that is mistaken for a stuffed toy appears attached to their luggage. Zatch remembers that it's his friend. When Kiyo attempts to pet it, it bites Kiyo's hand.After that Zatch wants to keep it while Kiyo is against the idea. When Kiyo is unpacking, he finds another spellbook in his bag meaning that this strange horse is a mamodo. The mamodo has a tough time getting it's rope undone so Kiyo cuts it. It turned out the rope was a present from it's mother but Kiyo can't understand it so he doesn't feel any guilt. Outraged the mamodo attacks just in time for Kiyo's friends and Tia to come by.The mamodo is friendly to everyone except Kiyo so he kicks it out of the house. Zatch is unconvinced and goes to find him alone while Kiyo is berated by his friends. Kiyo eventually decides to find the mamodo with Tia's help. They eventually find the mamodo with Zatch looking for anyone to adopt him. It turned out the mamodo was looking for it's bookowner which Tia can sympathize with. Kiyo is moved as well and allows the mamodo to stay until his book owner is found. Kiyo also names the mamodo 'Ponygon.' Everyone else likes it except Ponygon himself for his real name is Schneider.

EP22 - The Dancing Mamodo
Zatch and Kyo are working on their new spell. During this time Zatch and Suzy hear singing.The singing is coming from a mamodo named Yopopo. His book owner Djem jumps on Zatch thinking he's a mamodo at first but then says that he isn't and apologizes. She invites the group to lunch but makes Yopopo eat elsewhere.Once Yopopo's lunch is finished, Zatch and Suzy begin dancing while Djem talks about how she met Yopopo. She also talks about how Kikuropu and his book owner attacked her parents. Zatch and Suzy join them unable to keep up with Yopopo's stamina.Later Yopopo is attacked by Kikuropu and fights him alone. Yopopo is badly hurt until Zatch, Djem and Kiyo show up. Kiyo tries the fourth spell but it doesn't work. Yopopo's book catches on fire during the attack as well. Yopopo smiles because as long as Djem is safe he doesn't care what happens to his book.Kiyo full of emotions finally gets the fourth spell to work and with Djem's help, Kikuropu's book is burned. Yopopo and Djem share one last hug with Yopopo finally saying Djem's name.

EP21 - Another Zatch
After Zatch and Kiyo rescued citizens of London from Steng in the previous, the citizens and the gang threw a party. The next day after Kiyo talks to his father about Zatch's amnesia and the Mamodo Battle, Zatch and Kiyo traveled towards the forest called The Fairy Woods, where Seitaro Takamine originally found Zatch. On their way there they came across a village, but the villagers were terrified upon seeing Zatch since they know someone similar to him. Right before they went inside the forest, they found Tia and Megumi. Tia was mad and attacked Zatch. The reason for this was because, while Megumi and Tia were taking their last shot in England, they seen someone similar to Zatch in the woods, but in silhouette, and the boy ignored Tia's welcome and hid. Kiyo explained to them that there was another Zatch. But Megumi and Tia couldn't investigate with Zatch and Kiyo so Zatch and Kiyo investigated the forest by themselves. Zatch then went missing.Zatch was being chased by snakes and Professor D'artagnan, in a fairy costume, saves Zatch from the snakes and Kiyo chases after him, assuming that Zatch kidnapped him so he caught him. After hearing about an explosion that happened in the forest, Zatch and Kiyo went to the spot where there was an explosion. It appeared to be a meteor crate. Zatch got scared and his body started glowing brightly gold around the whole area. After the light ended, Zatch remembered the time he was in that forest as he used to live in this forest. When Zatch couldn't find a bookkeeper upon arriving in the human world, he would make a home in the forest and play with the animals in the forest. Some time while Zatch was living in the forest, his look-alike and his bookkeeper entered the forest, attacked Zatch with Zakeru and wiped out Zatch's memories instead of sending back to the Mamodo World. But that was all Zatch can remember; he still don't remember his life back in the Mamodo World. Kiyo pulled out the red spellbook and it started glowing. Zatch now learned a fourth spell. The mysterious look-alike was watching them.

EP20 - The Flowers Of Evil
Steng has Kanchomé and Parco Folgore as his hostages, telling Zatch and Kiyo that if they counterattack, Steng will kill Kanchomé and Folgore. In order to spare their lives, Steng ordered Kiyo and Zatch to give up their red spellbook to Steng. Upon taking their red spellbook, Steng attacks Zatch and Kiyo with his whip. After being beaten up, Kiyo asks Steng if one of the people that was kidnapped was his father; Steng kidnapped him this day's morning. Steng told him that he was asked by someone to kidnap Professor Takamine and he was rewarded with money. But he wasn't the one who ransacked Professor Takamine's room. After the little talk, Baltro and Steng attempts to finish of Zatch, Kiyo, Kanchomé, and Folgore. Before he could finish off Zatch and Kiyo, Kory, now with courage given by Zatch and Kiyo, steals back the red spellbook for Zatch and Kiyo. After dodging Baltro's attacks and giving the book back to Zatch and Kiyo, Kanchomé and Parco Folgore broke free from the controlled knight statues.Continuing the fight, Kiyo memorized the positions of all cursed flowers controlling the body parts and Zatch destroyed them. After the limbs were destroyed, Baltro exits out of his armor, revealing his true self. Parco Folgore, taunting Baltro's real self, gets attacked and pummeled by Baltro. Steng then uses Baltro's Zeberu to control every brick in the room to make the castle collaspe and he and Baltro escapes the castle through a window. Before the others escaped, the gang frees the rest of the kidnappers including Kiyo's father. Unfortunately, Kory's parents weren't among them. The Major told Kory that Kory's parents made Steng mad that Steng locked them deeper into the castle. Zatch, Kory, and Kiyo searched for Kory's parents in the deeper parts of the castle's dungeon. The castle crumbled but the boys and Kory's parents were alright. They got out the crumbled castle alive. Baltro and Steng are escaping into the woods, they met the boy that bribed Steng to kidnap Kiyo's father to lure Zatch and Kiyo into the castle and the boy destroyed Baltro's and Steng's spellbook.

EP19 - The Dark Lord Of The Cursed Castle
A boy named Kory steals Kiyo's luggage and Zatch and Kiyo chases after him, leaving Suzy Mizuno behind. After catching up with Kory, they became friends and Kiyo treated Kory's wound on his arm. Meanwhile, Suzy finds herself in a crop circle, along with Ponygon. Zatch, Kiyo, and Kory are now at the university where Kiyo's father worked. They accidentally went into Professor D'artagnan's before finding Professor Takamine's room. Upon entering Professor Takamine's room, the room was already thrashed, Seitaro Takamine was missing, and a flower was left behind. Kory knows what happened to him. Kory took Zatch and Kiyo back to his house and told them things that have been happening in London: People were being kidnapped by cursed knights, his parents were two of the people being kidnapped and Kory's arm was injured by those knights. Zatch and Kiyo then went to the cursed castle where the kidnapped people were taken; Kory didn't have the courage to go with them (yet).On the way to the cursed castle, Zatch and Kiyo found Kanchomé and Parco Folgore on the way. They assisted Zatch and Kiyo to find the missing people. Upon entering the first room, the boys were greeted with many flower-controlled knight suits. After defeating them, they entered the second room, where flower-controlled flying swords attacked them; Zatch and Kiyo blocked them with Rashield. In the third room, the boys fell into a pit trap; Zatch and Kiyo were able to save themselves but Kanchomé and Parco Folgore fell down. In the fourth room, the ceiling was falling down on Zatch and Kiyo; Zatch held the ceiling up as much as he could and blasted the ceiling with Zakeru. The next room, they meet the ruler of the castle, the one responsible for the kidnaps, Steng, and found some of the kidnapped people. Steng summoned his fully armored mamodo Baltro and battled against Zatch and Kiyo. After finding out the armored Baltro's weakness (they shot a flower controlling an arm, knocking the arm off), Steng reveals to them that they got Kanchomé and Parco Folgore as hostages.

EP18 - London Calling
Zatch Bell and Kiyo Takamine lands in London, England to visit his father at his university. On his way meeting his father, they found Kanchomé near a concert featuring Parco Folgore. Kanchomé asks Zatch and Kiyo to help him look for Folgore. Kanchomé brings them back to Folgore's room in the back of the concert and showed them a Folgore film called 00F and offers them a drink. After the movie ended, Kanchomé told Zatch and Kiyo that Folgore went missing and there was an hour before the concert starts.Zatch and Kiyo assisted Kanchomé's search for the missing Folgore by having Zatch following his scent from his autographed objects. Before searching, they noticed Suzy Mizuno on a Routemaster bus and Suzy mistaken London for Hong Kong, China. While continuing the search for Folgore, Zatch and Kanchomé went off task, grabbing fish. While Kanchomé was searching for a fish, Zatch and Kiyo found Tia and Megumi Oumi in London and took pictures with them as precious memories. Meanwhile, while Suzy is touring London (mistaking it as Hong Kong), due to her clumsiness she hit a pole and Parco Folgore helped her out.Continuing the search for Folgore, the boys found a candy shop that Folgore visited. The clerk told them that Folgore bought a lot of sweet from there. Then they went to the flower shop, where the flower clerk told them that Folgore bought a lot of flowers there. And then the toy store, where Folgore bought ten Folgore-figured toys. Kiyo asks Kanchomé if Folgore told him anything before leaving, Kanchomé tells Kiyo that he was going to see a girl.Continuing the hunt for Parco Folgore, the boys come to a hospital. They found Folgore with Suzy on the third floor of the hospital. Kiyo chased after him and Folgore jumped off the hospital, a bit unharmed and started running away. Zatch and Kiyo gave him a little shock with Zakeru and they went back to the third floor. Parco Folgore went into a room of hospitalized children and gave them candy, flower, and toys. In the end, after Kiyo understands why Folgore left the concert, he tells Folgore to make it to the end. After leaving the hospital to continue to visit father, a boy steals Kiyo's luggage...

EP17 - Kiyo's Curry Camping Trip
Kiyo wants to travel to London as soon as possible, due to the vacation having finally started. However, he still has many promises to be done, which he forgot all of them. He does his best to complete all of them within a day with help from Zatch. Kiyo then remembers the most important promise he made: going with the class to a camping trip.Zatch can't go with them, but manages to follow the students with the help of a strange little horse and a wild bear. The campers then are split into groups, each with a different duty. Kiyo's group is responsible for making curry to the dinner, but he doesn't even know how to do that. After enjoying the camp for hours, both he and Zatch go to London, as well as a strange little horse.

EP16 - The Invulnerable Robnos
Zatch finds in Kiyo's house a statue of Suzy, which has a message on it's neck saying that if Zatch and his bookkeeper don't come to meet the 'kidnappers' within 3 P.M in a cold storage room, she's going to suffer. Once they arrive in the storage room, the 'kidnapper' is revealed to be a mamodo called Robnos. He manages to hurt Zatch, at the point of they almost give up saving Suzy. However, he uncovered the secret behind Robnos' invincibility by demolishing everything in the cold storage room: there were two of him the whole time. This leads to the fusion of both Robnos and the reveal of his true form, which can stop Zaker with a single hand and destroy Rashield with a Biraitsu. Kiyo feeling numb from the cold uses a risky plan for Zatch to throw him at Robnos. Kiyo sticks an iron rod in Robnos' helmet to use as a lightning rod for a Zaker spell.As Robnos' book burns, he comments that Suzy was never taken hostage and that there's someone who looks like Zatch hanging around England. It turned out Suzy was absent from being sick.

EP8 - A Kind Mamodo, Kolulu
A female Mamodo appears in the city and instantly becomes friends with a girl named Lori, sort of like how Kiyo and Zatch met, except without the smashing windows. The Mamodos name's Kolulu and is very sweet and thinks of Lori as a big sister. Soon after Kolulu meets Zatch and instantly remembers him. Which is going to do; fighting her in her otherself or sending her back to the Mamodo World like the others from the past when she proves to be one of the few good Mamodos who refuses to fight?

Zatch tries to make friends with the same kids from last time in the park, but was shunned and made fun of, being called a freak. One of them says she's going to the zoo with HER friends, Zatch doesn't have any...except Kiyo and Suzie! Kiyo offers to take them to the botanical gardens, only to find an old friend, Ivy, and a new enemy with a Mamodo, who've been training for the Mamodo fight. After hearing Zatch scream, Kiyo ran downstairs, he paused and watched from the stairs. He runs down and pushes Zatch out of the way of an attack, which left a dent in the wall. Cheri asks Brago if it's another mamodo, already knowing the answer, he replies affirmative and asks what they should do. She tells him to let them beat each other up a bit. Downstairs, Zatch tells Kiyo that the dog is his friend; Kiyo tells Zatch that if it's so, he'd hate to see his enemies and sends a lightning attack at the charging monster after they cast another spell. When the man uses another spell, that sends sharp rocks out of the dogs back, Kiyo jumps in front of Zatch and takes the hit himself. EP4 - The Great Mamodo Battle
After finding Zatch showing off his powers, Kiyo abandoned Zatch. Zatch found a lost dog on a bridge. Then, a strange girl named Sherrie and her weird mamodo, Brago, came to Kiyo's house. When Zatch came home with his dog, he heard Kiyo, Brago, and Sherrie talking. When Zatch heard Sherrie said that if Kiyo keeps him, Kiyo will get hurt. When Zatch left, he saw a strange man in a cloak. When the man pulled out a book, and then the dog that Zatch found turned into a spiky monster.

EP3 - The Second Spell
As the episode begins, Kiyo is once again paging through Zatch's spellbook, attempting to puzzle out the second spell, Rashield. But he has little luck, and soon abandons the task. When Zatch announces that he'll be accompanying Kiyo to school, the teenager is alarmed and yells at Zatch in an attempt to keep the Mamado from following him. Zatch does not take this well, and demands to know what he's supposed to do by himself. Kiyo, ever the genius, quickly whips up a small cardboard doll called the Voltron 3000 to keep Zatch occupied while he slips out to school. Though Zatch adores the toy, he follows Kiyo anyway, bringing the Volcan 300 along for the ride. Kiyo's mind keeps returning to his first battle with Zatch as he continuously fails to dicipher the Red Book. He is amazed at Zatch's abilities, though that gets thrown aside when Zatch displays his wide variety of backpack outfits. As he returns to school with the little momodo, the team finds a guy with a momodo of his own, this one with the power to freeze anything, stealing a car from a hapless victim. Kiyo ignores the crime, marveling at both the kid and Blue Book while the guy gets away. The crook turns back up at the bank to hold it up while Susie is there for a withdrawal. EP1 - The Lightning Boy from Another World
Kiyo is a junior high student who's a genius, yet repeatedly cuts his classes because he is literally smarter than most teachers in the school. Meanwhile, in a forest in England, Kiyo's archaeologist father discovers a Mamado child named Zatch, who has no memory of who he is or of his past. Kiyo's father sends Zatch to Kiyo as a sort of mentor. However, Kiyo doesn't take kindly to Zatch's efforts. The 14-year-old pulls a prank on the boy by saying he'll rescue Zatch from the schoolyard bully. Even as Zatch is pummeled by the bully, Zatch continues to stick up for Kiyo.
