Idoly Pride
After a successful audition, high school student Nagase Kotono and her best friend move into a dorm with eight other aspiring idols.
They quickly realize it takes more than cute choreography and cute outfits to reach the top—it will take blood, sweat, and tears to advance in the idol-ranking VENUS program, where the top spot is held by superstar Nagase Mana...who happens to be Kotono's older sister.

EP1 - From This First Step
Mana Nagase gets classmate Kohei Makino involved and starts her idol career in high school. She makes it to the final round of the Next Venus Grand Prix, but dies in a tragic car accident.

EP2 - The Reason We Stand Here
Mana's younger sister Kotono and a mysterious girl with Mana's voice, Sakura Kawasaki, passes the audition to sign with Hoshimi Productions. They move into the company dorms to start their path to become idols.

Kotono feels uncomfortable working as a group. When LizNoir shows up at Hoshimi Productions and gives a lesson, it helps everyone come together as a group.

Kouhei scouts Mei to join Hoshino Productions and finds out that she is able to see Mana. Kotono feels resistant to her addition at first, but begins to understand why it was necessary.

Kouhei splits up the group, designating Sakura and Kotono as leaders and announces the addition of two new members, Haruko and Rei. Sakura's group struggles with Rei's strict dance practice.

Sunny Peace and Moon Tempest make it to the Next Venus Grand Prix finals. Kouhei joins Sakura for her regular health check-up at the hospital. Things get complicated when the public points out Sakura's singing sounds exactly like Mana's.

Sakura reveals that she believes her heart is Mana's heart. Kouhei confesses that he thinks that too and tells Sakura that Mana is around as a ghost.

Sunny Peace is up against TRINITYAiLE for the semi-finals. Sunny Peace performs a brand new song with Sakura's new singing style that doesn't sound like Mana's. Van Production's president, Asakura, is revealed to be Rui's father.

Moon Tempest is up against LizNoir for the semi-finals. Kotono is informed of Mana's ghost. Rio shares her past experiences surrounding Mana to Kotono.

Sunny Peace and Moon Tempest are up against each other in the finals. Mana confesses her true regret and feelings to Kouhei before her final goodbye.
