Seiso Academy won the third stage under the lead of Ritsu's performance. But because he strained himself, Ritsu's wrist gets injured; he can no longer continue with the competition. He picks Kyoya to take his place as first violin in the semifinal, but Kyoya becomes anxious and angrily storms out of Linden Hall. Kanade is anxious as well, and desperately tries to understand what Tohgane meant by "flowering."
