『Asahi Koube』

A boy who is searching for the whereabouts of Shio. He's later revealed to be Shio's older brother.

It's hinted that he had romantic feelings for Shouko after she stole his first kiss, and when he finds Shouko's corpse in the fire, he is devastated. In the final episode, he is shown visiting Shio in the hospital.
