She was the homeroom advisor of Class 1-3 at Asunaro High School being the teacher in charge of Morihito, Keigo and Nico. Currently, she's the homeroom of Class 1-2 being the teacher of Miharu, Furan, Rui and Aika.

Although she tries to hide it due to her professionalism, she is secretly an otaku and is heavily involved in the fandom of her favorite series Uron Mirage. She considers herself as a "true fan" of the series, and reading weekly chapters of her favorite series is akin to a sacred ritual for her. She is prone to long internal monologues when analyzing the story, characters, and even fanworks (e.g. fanart posted by Haimi on Chitter).

Initially ashamed of her passion for manga, she later opens up about her interests as she forms a friendship with her student and fellow fan Kukumi Ureshino. However, other attempts to connect with more "casual" fans who have a different interpretation of the series have left her disappointed and alienated.This experience becomes a driving force for her to start writing fanfiction with a perfectionist touch, as she likes everything to be in accordance with her own canon interpretation of the series..
