Unfortunately, due to his old age, his body began to lose its ability to handle its own strength and as a result, Gun-Hee was forced to retire after only a few years of working as a hunter. When healing magic was discovered, Gunhee hoped that it could reverse his age and allow him to get back in the game, but this was to no avail. With no other options left, Gun-Hee gave up on ever getting back to working as a hunter and eventually became the Chairman of the Korean Hunters Association.Although Gun-Hee was the vessel of a Ruler, his old age prevents him from both using his powers to their full potential and fighting for prolonged periods of time. Despite this, however, he is still the second strongest hunter in Korea after Jin-Woo.Due to his weakened body, he loses his fight against the Frost Monarch and dies soon after Sung Jin-Woo overpowers and kills the Frost MonarchRuler's Hands: Although he is never shown doing it, Gun-Hee is able to control and move objects via telekinesis.
